Common questions

How do I add a port? Choose Abdomen or Chest, tap the body where the port goes, pick its size, and add a note if you like (for example, camera).

How do I move or change a port? Hold the port until it lifts, then drag it. Tap a port to change its size or note, or to delete it. Undo takes back the last change.

How do I save a case? Tap Save and enter the attending and the procedure. Names you have used before appear as quick picks, so the same operation always groups together.

How do I compare attendings? Open Saved Cases and switch to Procedure. Each operation shows every attending's setup side by side.

Can I edit a saved case? Yes. Open it and tap Edit. Cases saved in version 2.0 or earlier kept only a picture, so for those Edit lets you change the names but not move the ports.

How do I share a diagram? Open a saved case and tap Share, or Photos to save it to your photo library.

Where is my information kept? Only on your iPhone. Port Placer has no account and sends nothing anywhere. See the privacy policy.
